School update 11th May 2020

School update (COVID-19   -   11th May 2020)

Dear Parents

I am sure that many of you will have seen and heard the announcement made by the Prime Minister yesterday and have many questions regarding the proposed plan for returning to school.

Like you, I also have many questions about the plan, and the practical safety aspects of having more and more pupils on school site.

I am waiting to receive more information from Government and Coventry Local Authority about what this means for our school.  In the short-term, nothing has changed and I will provide further information in the coming days and weeks once I am able to do so.

The advice remains the same – pupils should remain at home wherever possible.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for following the guidance on social distancing and for engaging with school staff in such a positive way. These are very unusual times we are experiencing, but the positive way in which school staff and parents have engaged with each other has made it much easier to manage.

I am sure, that you as parents, would also join me in thanking all school staff for their hard work and dedication to providing educational support via digital and distance learning for your children.

Until we meet up again in person

Please stay safe and well

Best wishes

Sally Snooks
